We dont want water to stay on the turf leaves for an excessive period of time because that will create an environment for fungus. Also keep in mind that you want your watering to end before you take you a morning shower because the lawn sprinkler system will have an effect on the water pressure in your home.

How Many Minutes Should I Water My Lawn
How much time should be spent on lawn watering? To answer this, you need to determine how long it takes your sprinklers to put out an inch of water.
